Autopay Issue

On behalf of the Rainbow Municipal Water District, we sincerely apologize for the recent issue on 10/14/24 with our autopay system that may have caused confusion and frustration regarding your account.

Due to a technical error, our billing system deducted the balance due on your bill with the October 13, 2024, due date and the bill with the November 7, 2024, due date since both balances were outstanding at the same time. When we adjusted the due date for last month’s error, it inadvertently affected the billing timeframe, leading to the inclusion of next month’s balance in this month’s payment. We understand how important accurate payment processing is, and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To correct this issue, we have refunded your original autopay payment on Monday, October 14th and will initiate a new payment on Monday, October 21st for just the October balance, leaving the remaining November bill balance to be processed via autopay on its normal schedule of 11/07/24.  We have also credited your account if late fees were included.
