As a small government agency, Rainbow Water works tirelessly to maintain service to 82-square miles, 24 hours a day and 365 days per year. The team collaborates with North San Diego County emergency response agencies to coordinate response efforts and resolve incidents.

Alert San Diego
Register your phone number and download Alert San Diego's mobile app for the regional emergency notification system. The program sends immediate emergency updates via calls and the mobile app features interactive map and shelter locations. Register your number online, create a disaster plan and more on the Alert San Diego website.
Genasys Protect
Receive precise location alerts for evacuation areas and emergencies with Genasys Protect, a new mobile app for customers in the North County Fire District. Read more and download the phone app.
Watch Duty
Stay in the know about wildfires andevacuation information with Watch Duty, an app that provides real time updates by active and retired firefighters, first responders, and dispatchers. The app is used by public agencies including Rainbow Water, to monitor and report the most up to date emergency information. Watch Duty allows users to view wildfire maps, track fire perimeters, red flag warnings, power outages, evacuation orders, air quality, and submit photos for fire locations.
